Tuition and Fees

Below is an explanation of fees and tuition for Lighthouse Academy. Please note all fees are subject to change but members will be notified before the semester begins if any changes to tuition or fees is necessary.

Fees may be paid in the following ways:

 

Cash - in a sealed envelope with your family name and "Lighthouse Academy fees"

written on the outside, given to the Treasurer or Executive Board member.

Check - made payable to "Lighthouse Academy."

given to the Treasurer or an Executive Board member.

PayPal - use our email address: lighthousefamilies@gmail.com;

send with "Friends and Family" or you will need to also pay a

transaction service fee.

Note: Payment plans are available by arrangement with the Lighthouse Academy Treasurer.

Our goal at Lighthouse Academy is to make sure financial hardship

doesn't keep our beloved families from enrolling. If you are

interested in contributing to the Lighthouse Academy Scholarship Fund,

please feel free to make a payment above your invoice amount,

and note that on your check or PayPal.

 

Explanation of Fees:

 

Each project has an enrollment fee of $60/student/semester

     - to cover mentors' costs for copies, activities, classroom rewards, etc.

Project binder fee is $25/student/year

​

Transition to Scholar project has an enrollment fee of $50/student/semester

     - Because Transition to Scholar is similar to a scholar project, the cost is higher than regular junior program fees. This covers activities, classroom rewards, copies etc. 

​

Fee for each Junior Program Student is $25/student/semester

​

General Operations Fee is $25/student/year

     - to cover all of our activities and operations outside the classroom.

​

Mentor Discount of $60/semester

     - applied when a parent is mentoring a class in the current school year.

​

Insurance Premium for the group is paid annually

     - cost is divided equally among all Lighthouse families.

​

Facility Rent is collected at the beginning of each semester and is subject to change each year depending on facility contract changes and facility costs. 

     - cost is divided equally among all Lighthouse families.

     - pays for the weekly use of the classrooms and the other facilities used throughout the year.
